June 8, 2014: AMAZING DAY!

June 8, 2014: AMAZING DAY!  Today Star let me hand rub and scratch her whole neck, stomach, and hind!!!  She was loving it!  Leaning in on me and nuzzling to groom me too!  It was such an incredible experience that I completely forgot about the water running in the barn and flooded the barn  that I had stayed up all night cleaning out for new hay! ha!  Now it is cleaner then ever and the boys liked to laugh at mama flooding the barn!!!  and Best of all Star has had a huge breakthrough day!  This is the type of progress we have so been working towards.  This is a vital step in getting her ready for the ferrier.  We really need to get her hooves trimmed, but we need to be able to handle her well and have her halter broke.  This was the progress we needed to see.  This was a wonderful day
